I never understood why I always wanted something more when it wasn’t available. That new home that just went off the market because someone else purchased it. The office space that seemed perfect when the broker informed me “it wasn’t available” or that killer flat screen “television” on display at best buy that has a sign that says “Sold”! It’s true, we always want what we can’t have and it’s human nature. When you’re dealing with prospects try to remember that we all want what we can’t have. Don’t be so eager to sell and be more interested in asking the right questions. Try to qualify a little more and your sales will double if you can apply this strategy properly. It takes practice and it requires the right approach to your specific industry but it is very powerful. The secret to selling more is actually “selling less”! Ask questions! Don’t be a sales guru! Be a good listener and remember “People love to Buy- but hate to be sold”!
